My Grandmama was born in 1905 and died in ‘98. So this picture must have been taken about 1907. She lived through two World Wars, the Great Depression, and a nuclear arms race. She was a hard woman, but in this photo she looks so pure and so innocent. This restoration has helped me see my gran in a new light, she lived through so much, she did so much for my family, but like all of us, she was once just a sweet young child with the whole world ahead of her. Thank you. Sincerely thank you!
This is a photo of my parents on their wedding day. Only after getting it colorized do I realize how much my Dad looks like my son! Same hair, same eyes, it’s uncanny, they’re peas in a pod. I got this photo printed and gave it to my parents and they were overjoyed. My Mom sadly has Dementia now, but she spent hours obsessing over the photo and pointing out all the little details. It’s like all her memories came flooding back when I showed this to her, she was crying and remembering stories I’ve never heard before… It was beautiful!
This is my uncle Jimmy. My Pop used to tell me he was mischievous when he was young, and I think you can see that in this photo. Hard to imagine that he ended up becoming a high-school teacher! He’s the one who taught me how to ride a bike, he also used to help me with my grades, and he taught me to stand up to bullies. He died just this year actually, and I really miss him. Restoring this photo really meant a lot to my family. He will be remembered always and forever.
I am so thrilled with this result! This is a photo of my Mom when she was young. Funnily enough she looks almost exactly the same as she does now, same hairstyle and same chubby cheeks plus some grey hair and wrinkles. I gave this photo to her as a birthday present and she was overjoyed. I thought it was just any old photo, but for her it brought back a lot of memories I guess. Thanks for giving my Mom a great birthday guys <3
I might not bear much resemblance anymore but this adorable young girl is ME! Haha! This was taken in the very late 50s I think! The restoration process was so easy, I sent the picture off and asked to get it colorized and then told them that the dress was pink and the flowers on my hair were also pink. They restored it so quickly and the result is fantastic!! The colors really pop and it really brings the photo to life. I actually got this one framed and put it on my mantelpiece, it looks superb, thanks!
